Counseling Alternatives Group is a private practice specializing in comprehensive clinical services to persons of all ages. The agency is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health to provide counseling services to persons struggling with substance abuse issues as well as their family members. In addition professional counselors at the Masters degree level or above provide services for individuals struggling with depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD issues, and other life transition or developmental struggles. All of the professional counselors at the agency have been particularly trained and mentored in the provision of services to the dually diagnosed client (both a substance abuse and psychiatric or emotional problem). The staff have specialties in marriage and family counseling as well as group modality interventions. In addition the agency staff provide community presentations as part of our outreach plan as well as various trainings and workshops reflective of the specialties of the counselors.

Many insurance companies cover services at Counseling Alternatives Group and the services for which I provide. You are encouraged to contact your insurance carrier to get pre-approval and/or precertification for services. The client portion of the session fee is due at the time the service is provided. Due to customary fee fluctuations please call the agency directly to obtain the most current fee schedule. The agency does employ a professional administrative assistant who works almost daily with insurance carriers. Clients can also be given a submitable fee statement at the time of each session if they so desire.
